Scope of the conference
The series of ECLIM conferences
are held to stimulate fundamental and applied research on high-energy and/or high-intensity
laser-matter interaction. They allow researchers, students and engineers gathering, on a rather informal basis, for fruitful
discussions, and presentation of new results within the conference topics.
This 33rd issue
will be held in Paris at a time when the dynamism of laser
developments is stronger than ever, boosted by the active
collaboration of academic researchers and innovation partners.
The advent of several PW facilities in construction world-wide
holds the promise of an enlargement of the laser-plasma community
and will bring new tools for the exploration of matter.
Conference topics
physics of laser-produced plasmas: laser-matter interaction
(from nanosecond to femtosecond), atomic physics, hydrodynamics, etc
inertial confinement fusion
for energy (from target design to proof-of-principle experiments)
particle and radiation secondary sources,
including x-ray lasers and novel ultra-short EUV sources
attophysics
high-power and/or
high-energy laser facilities and related technologies (including targets, diagnostics, ...)
